Just a comment: Whenever I build xmame / xmess it spits a lot of
warnings mentioning a keyboard function that was "defined but not
used". I've never had trouble though, but it happens since I've first
tried xmame, I mean, since older versions. I thought it could be
helpful to share this information.

PS: Now that I've got full screen with DGA and I've finally had the
time to set my joypad up, this must be just like paradise!!
