I realize that it's a bit early to ask this, but has anyone tried
XFree 4.03 yet? I noticed (Lawrence!) that it has better GL support
for the Matrox G400. Usually XFree compilation defeats me though,
and I end up waiting for mandrake or RedHat to roll me an rpm.
I just remembered that my current work PC has mandrake 8 on it
(which included kde 2.1) so I'll see if the binaries work for
me tomorrow
