I386 joystick interface initialization...
Joystick: /dev/input/js0 is Gravis Eliminator AfterShock
Joystick: Built in driver version: 2.1.0
Joystick: Kernel driver version : 2.1.0
OSD: Info: Joystick 0, 6 axis, 11 buttons

Okay, yeah, this is an Eliminator not an Xterminator, and I just
realised this =] But I thought I'd post my results just in case they'd
help. Have you contacted Vojtech (the maintainer of the linux joystick
driver) and asked him if this is a known issue? He was a great help when
I had trouble with >1 sidewinder gamepad.

I have a quick question as well for anyone that wants to tackle it, too:

My joystick is only a 10 button pad, which leads me to believe that if I
"trigger" the 11th button, the pad will vibrate (the aftershock's a
vibrating controller). Does anyone know how to do this, though?
