well, not exactly--there's an archive stretching back to may 1998 still
accessible at mail-archive.com
it starts at

and continues post-toybox-migration at

ending up after the mailman migration at

this includes every message ever posted to any incarnation of the list =)
however, mail-archive is a bit slow to get new messages accessible on
occasion (usually within a day--the service rocks and is totally out
of the kindness of some guy's heart, so i am not intending to complain)
so the freshly started archive will probably be the preferred archive for
non-historical purposes =)
