For those interrested, here is my optimization flag list :
-mpentium -finline-functions -fstrength-reduce -fomit-frame-pointer
-fcse-follow-jumps -fcse-skip-blocks -frerun-cse-after-loop
-fschedule-insns2 -fshort-enums -ffast-math -malign-loops=2
-malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -frerun-loop-opt -fgcse
-fexpensive-optimizations -funroll-loops -fmove-all-movables
xmame compiled with these works fine for me and I think that the
compiler can't optimize any further...
