xmame-0.61.1-pr1 (preview release 1) is available for download as a diff
against 0.60.1:

There are still changes to be made--see the todo file for the ones I could
think of--but this should be good enough for verifying roms and playing
most games.
I may be able to get a CVS repository set up some time next week. With a
few more people being able to commit changes directly, I shouldn't be as
big a bottleneck.
Changes since 0.60.1 include:
- The mouse cursor is now hidden in OpenGL fullscreen mode.

- Applied a patch for FreeBSD to unix/video-drivers/svgainput.c.

- Applied the NetMAME 0.5 patch, which adds a new option,
-parallelsync, which should allow games to work without
lag at network latencies of up to 16 milliseconds. (Steve Freeland)
- Applied the ps2linux patch. (Joan Sarah Touzet)
