I have got a Red Hat 7.2 on a I386. I installed xmame0.60 using the rpm
downloaded from x.mame.net.
and I have got 2 joysticks :

/dev/js0 is a gamepad attached to the SoundBlaster128PCI gameport
/dev/js1 is a MS sidewinder attached to usb port.

They work well (I tested them with vice and zsnes).

A)
My problem is I cannot use the '-jdev' switch to set the preferred device
as /dev/js1 instead
of the default one used by xmame.

I use this command :

xmame -jt 4 -jdev /dev/js1 <rom_name>

If -jdev switch is present, xmame is not able to find any joystick !
Without -jdev (with -jt present) xmame recognizes the /dev/js0 as default
joystick and /dev/js1 is recognized only for the 2nd player !

What's wrong ?

B)
Another problem is the "-sl" or "-nosl" (sim scanlines) switch is ignored.
I noted it is 'on' by default, but if I use this command :

xmame -jt 4 -nosl <rom_name>
the -nosl switch is ignored and xmame consider it as -sl

What's wrong again ?

C)
Where I have to places the cheats file ?

Thank you.
