I don't think so... The code I originally started with was
written by Eric Totel, and as far as I know was his original work.
There does seems to be vestigial Windows code in the top-level
network.c, but when I took over the project I couldn't find any kind
of attribution for it (and it was near incomrehensible to me in any
case).
In any case the current protocol is completely different from
either of those two, so there would definitely have to a backport.
