Im guessing the 68k asm core doesnt work on x86_64 ?

That could be it, as I've tried enabling it (and it compiles). I'll try disabling it. What about X86_MIPS3_DRC and EFFECT_MMX_ASM? Should they be expected to work or break?

I would expect those to break also. The x86 cores need to be updated for x86_64.

Indeed. I've now got xmvsf working, but kinst2 segfaults immediately, so I
guess it's time to disable mips3_drc on x86_64 too.

Does anyone know what I can use to now test EFFECT_MMX_ASM?

-effect 8
