I don't even have an xmamerc. I've just searched my entire system
for one and there isn't one so I'm assuming I have to create one.
I'm fairly sure I've never had to do this before. It has been a
while since I've used MAME though.
There's sample one in the docs directory, and you can copy it to
~/.xmame/xmamerc. You can also either specify the rompath on the
command line with -rp, or give the full path to the rom.
