Greetings.
I'm a business analyst for a company in the Bay Area. I'm doing research for one of our project that requires an XML parser that can run UNIX.
LIBXML was one option I'm looking at.
I have a few questions about LIBXML. I looked at XMLSOFT.ORG but couldn't quite determine if LIBXML meets these following criteria:
1. translate flat file to XML (any to XML)
2. translate XML to flat file (XML to any)
3. translate EDI to XML
4. translate XML to EDI
5. validate against a schema
6. support XSDs
I'm a newbie in XML and non-technical. I would appreciate any feedback on whether you think LIBXML can meet the requirements above.
