could you (or someone else) please comment on the configure patches. I can
rebase and resend the remaining patches in two batches 1: build warning fixes,
2: coverity fixes
You post patches that with so many updates outside topic of the patch.
It is difficult to read a patch that contain extra changes just to
remove blanks at eof of line.
