Hi Linda and Walter,

I bothered to download the ExeterXML server demo for NT, and install it.
Installation and configuration basically went fine.
However, I had to tweak all the xml files a little to reflect that the demo
did not
run on the default HTTP port, which happened to be occupied by IIS 5. Once
this update was
done (a one line change in 1550 files), I could view the UN/SPSC demo.
You can use this demo to browse through the UN/SPSC from the top down.
The main page lists all the segments, for every segment there is a page
which lists all the families, for every family there is a page listing the
related classes, and finally, for every class there is a page listing the
commodities.
The pages are built from the XML files and a couple of XSL stylesheets, one
for each level.
The different levels are kept apart using sub-directories, linkage between
the files is done in the stylesheet. Not particularly smashing programming,
but it works for browsing the categorization.
With this demo as it is, all you can do is step through the UN/SPSC level by
level.

Regards, Gait Boxman,
TIE Product Development,
The Netherlands.
