Subject: EDI system

Hello,

Let's suppose a company which have a very simple EDI system wants to
modernize it to something using XML/EDI like XEDI or The Redix GUI Mapper
and Authoring Tools by Redix International, Inc. Is it worth buying such
systems or is it better to wait for a system based on world standards
definied in this group ?
I have also another matter. XML/EDI translators translate XML document into
EDI message and it is being sent in that way. However it seems to me that
XML/EDI technology assume sending EDI messages in XML format, not in raw
EDI. Am I right ?

BTW: if you know any XML/EDI translators worth of seeing, please let me
know.

Dariusz Wierzbicki
