Brilliant! That worked perfectly, and was delivered much faster than I
expected.
I had to hunt around a bit to find where those files are found on a
Mac deployment, so I will share the details for anyone else on the
list interested in trying it:
Right-click (or control-click) on the XMLEditor.app application and
choose ?Show Package Contents? in the contextual menu. Let?s call that
directory ?Contents?. Then xsc.jar goes in Contents/Resources/Java and
en.dar goes in Contents/Resources/addon/spell (and note that when Mail
downloaded the file it added an extra ".jar" to the filename, but I
noticed this and renamed "en.dar.jar" to "en.dar" before replacing the
existing file).
I kept the old files around in an archive directory just in case, and
will keep the downloads around to use when I install updated versions
of XXE, until I see in the release notes that the feature has become
officially supported, or they become incompatible with a future
release. Hopefully they will become unnecessary before they become
incompatible. :)
Thanks so much, Mr Shafie.
