Sorry but I don't see what we can do to help you. XMLmind XML Editor contains no code at all which deals with the input methods and this, whatever the platform (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux). Everything is done by the Java[tm] runtime. Mac OS X 10.5 has both a Java 1.5 and Java 1.6 runtime. May be the problem is specific to only one of these two Java runtimes.
