I don't know how to do that. And I doubt that a normal user wants to do 
that by hand. That's why, *if* there is something XXE can do to automate 
the process of embedding custom fonts in the PDF it generates, we would 
like to implement it.

Why isn't Adobe providing built-in fonts covering a large subset of Unicode?

Thank you for these pointers. I've translated these pages using Google 
Language Tools and I'll read them.
