Hi. We are using XML Editor for authoring the DocBook documentation for FLOW3 and related packages. All in all an awesome product and we recommend it whenever we can! But ...
... after upgrading to the latest version (4.3.0) the behaviour of the shortcut for "edit referenced document" has changed. It used to open the document ready for editing, but now it opens on read-only mode. The documentation states that this should happen if you hold shift while clicking the corresponding menu item - that it doesn't do. But it does open in read-only mode whenever I use Cmd-Shift-E to invoke "edit referenced document". This seems to be a bug, and an annoying one, too.
