Thank you for this tip.  This sounds much better than merely trying to 
make sure all users do not use the quick start cache.

Yes, I know.  The problem is that while some of us find the Install 
Add-ons mechanism to be nice, many of our users do not have any 
comparable experience with such a mechanism.  It's the kind of thing 
that might keep some of them from even trying to use the software, 
unfortunately.  These users do, however, have a lot of experience with 
using installers.  So that is why I've chosen to go this way.
