This document says: "The base GUI specification is by default[4]
xxe-gui:app/Professional.xxe_gui, which is a resource contained in
xxe_app.jar"

But there is no visible xxe_app.jar in my XXE installation. After a bit
of search I've found the base GUI spec in:

<XXE_dir>\bin\xxe.jar\gui\app\common.xxe_gui

(included by Professional.xxe_gui at the same location)

Is it the expected place?

On the other hand, what I was trying to suggest was not a modal edit
dialog, but a submenu of the right-click pop-up menu that offers a list
of valid element names for inserting at a given place.

Is it possible to customize the right-click, context-sensitive pop-up?

Thanks for your helpful explanations.
