I've been happily porting a document into DITA, doing the bulk of the work outside XML Mind (because I've been given a special PC for running such a dangerous application) but finishing off each topic in XML Mind for validation.
I have the impression that some of the content I've prepared is being slightly modified: what I specifically notice is that a <shortdesc> which was a single long line in the external editor seems to be broken up into several shorter lines once opened in XML Mind. This does no harm to the end result, of course: but it does mean I can't use grep to pull out all the complete <shortdesc> elements. Any tips or comments? I don't think I can get to grips with Xquery in the time available ;-} Thanks in advance!
