I can confirm that DejaVu is already installed on my computer.

Thank you for reporting this issue. It's in fact a bug which is very
easy to reproduce. My guess is that your computer, like mine, has a
set of DejaVu fonts already installed and that's why it's not possible
to register the copies bundled with the MathML add-on.
We'll fix this bug in XXE v9.3.
