You already got your answer on IRC, but for people reading the mailing list and its archives, I'll include the answer here. The keys you're looking for are "position" and "newposition". I have some good playlist code in my abandoned Rxmms2 client that can show a real use case and some of the other broadcast_playlist_changed results.
