Classification: Unclassified
Product: xorg
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal

I'm using open source radeon driver I can't manage to set the power_profile on
boot - I have to do it manually after login
I have added in /etc/rc.local
echo profile > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_method
echo low > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_profile
exit 0
http://www.overclock.net/t/731469/how-to-power-saving-with-the-radeon-driver
and try to boot a script as a service - doesn't work
Any Idea how to set a low/mid profile to the power_profile at boot ?
Linux 3.2.0-25-generic #40-Ubuntu x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Radeon Mobility HD4570 (RV710)
