There is no intention of removing anything. We'd like to hear from
someone who can confirm that it works when running from a popular Linux
distro "out-of-the-box" with one of the popular desktop such as Gnome or
KDE. I am wondering how the ztv driver gets loaded as it is not known to
the X server.
