Hi, The long saga of trying to get a working git xorg continues. I can start the git X with a simple .xinitrc that contains an xterm. However as soon as I press a key xterm dumps core after printing the assert.
I thought it might be there was a mismatch between xterm and the newly built libraries so I also ran the test after clearing PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the .xinitrc. The same assertion fires (although obviously a slightly different line).
