I've tried, yesterday evening, the same installation (except it is in
amd64 and not in i386) : kernel 2.6.29 and NVidia 96.43.11-pkg1 and
pkg2.
The result was the same : impossible to compile...

The error comes from the new organization of the headers (2
directories)...
