I am attempting to get 4 large VARTECH touchscreens working using gnome
and Fedora 10. I have tried using evdev for each of the touchscreens,
but I cannot get the touchscreens to recongize "single touch". If I
want to select something, I must touch the screen twice to activate a
mouse down event. the mouse will go from screen to screen as I touch
them. The man page states that I should load a
evdev for each touchscreen, but if I do that all after the first are
ignored. Question here is how do you specify loading mutiple evdev's in
the config file? We have also tried using evtouch. With
evtouch I get "single touch", where by if I touch the screen once, it is
recongized as a mouse down event. The problem with this approach, is
that the mouse will not follow the touch from
screen to screen. We must use the mouse to move to the screen we want,
and then the touch will work. I have included the xorg.conf files used
for both evdev and evthouch.
