Xephyr -mouse evdev,,device=/dev/input/evdev1 -keybd evdev,,device=/dev/input/evdev0,xkbmodel=evdev,xkblayout=us If You use this commandline, then You bypass X server events and use Linux mouse and keyboard directly.
