Compiling a list has been on my todo list for a while, but it seems to be a moving target that depends on X version, hardware & drivers, as well as distro. https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=57239 is a recent attempt to figure it out in Mandriva. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=438091#c6 has suggestions from a Novell developer. http://fm.no-ip.com/auth/Font/fonts-linux-about.html might have something I'm forgetting about ATM. If you find Xft.dpi has been set to 96, you need to find out where and either change it to null or to some specific DPI that suits you. -- "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
