Hi, I would like to use an iiyama X436S at 1280x1024 on VGA1 with my Laptop, unfourtunatly it seems the EDID information the monitor sends is bogus:
> VGA1 connected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) > 1024x768 60.0 > 800x600 60.3 56.2 > 848x480 60.0 > 640x480 59.9 The monitor is capable of 1280x1024, is it possible to override the max-resolution, if possible without touching xorg.conf.d?
