Odd error. I don't see any hits on Google for imprecise_trapezoid_span_converter

Can you try running

find /usr/ -type f -print0 | xargs -0 grep -H imprecise_trapezoid_span_converter

On my systems this returns nothing.

Fedora 42 updated regularly, recently 2 days ago.

Opening any pdf file, clicking on the size drop-down (the one at the top right, e.g. 75%) exits the desktop
and I need to log in again. Any pdf file does this. xpdf has no problem.

This started recently.

I run 'evince' to view a pdf file, starts OK, then click the drop down and am logged out. Not just evince exiting. As if X was killed (I still run Xorg). No oops in the system log. See log below for X crash.

Hovering over the drop down is OK, until I click it...

The same evince version on another f42 machine (a VM) works OK.

Where else to look? What options/settings may help?

=========== some logs =====

Looking at 'messages' I see at that second:
Jul 10 10:13:51 e7 at-spi2-registryd[3107732]: X connection to :0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown). Jul 10 10:13:51 e7 org.a11y.Bus[3104932]: X connection to :0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown). Followed by many messages of things shutting down and a new login starting. I can post if it helps.

Note: The above two lines are regular presence in the messages log when the system is rebooting. Unusual messages started Jun 29. Last update before this date was on Jun 25. Any packages worth checking (571 listed)?

Looking at Xorg.0.log.old I see at the end:
