Hi Luca, Good idea! I have a few comments about this particular patch, however:
- It would probably be better if we had one patch which converted Xournal to use some sort of configuration parsing library (simpler is probably better), and then adding -e as a proper option. As it stands now, 'xournal -e filename.pdf filename.xoj' does not work, which is a variant I would normally expect to work. - If you're doing it in batch mode, it would be far better for the error output to also be to the client. Ideally, you'd want to avoid initializing GTK; but at least avoid reporting bad files as a GTK error box.
