At the moment the IDL Package http:\\www.rsinc.com
needs 8bit or 24bit. The next version will support 16bit too.
But then I have to do much more changes to my library too.

If I change DefaultDepth to 24 I got no screen.

The main problem I have is that it is something strange with 
the cards memory. If I set VideoRam 16384 I got no screen too.

I have not tested xv at the moment.
