At the moment the IDL Package http:\\www.rsinc.com needs 8bit or 24bit. The next version will support 16bit too. But then I have to do much more changes to my library too. If I change DefaultDepth to 24 I got no screen. The main problem I have is that it is something strange with the cards memory. If I set VideoRam 16384 I got no screen too. I have not tested xv at the moment. regards Reimar -- Reimar Bauer Institut fuer Stratosphaerische Chemie (ICG-1) Forschungszentrum Juelich email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.fz-juelich.de/icg/icg1/ ================================================================== a IDL library at ForschungsZentrum Juelich http://www.fz-juelich.de/icg/icg1/idl_icglib/idl_lib_intro.html http://www.fz-juelich.de/zb/text/publikation/juel3786.html ================================================================== read something about linux / windows http://www.suse.de/de/news/hotnews/MS.html _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
