Greetings-

I am working on finalizing the setup of a laptop running the latest
version of X from cvs and have a successful compile on a SuSE 7.2
system. The laptop has a ATI Radeon M6 card with 8mb of memory. When I
run the X -configure or XFree86 -configure programs, I get a valid
XF86Config.new file but one piece of output from that process has me
puzzled. X will not load correctly and I get the message "failed to
detect the panel size". I think that this has something to do with the
lcd monitor. I am still using the default XF86Config file which was
generated by configuration script.

I was able to use RedHat rpms which incorporate the ATI Radeon M6 driver
a few weeks ago without any problems.

Here is the default XF86Config file. Any help on the "panel size" issue
would be greatly appreciated.
