G4 is a type of cpu used in powerpc computers, e.g. macs.

I really don't see much in the way of instruction in that README, I'm
assuming make/make install.

I have downloaded(CVS), compiled (with the XFree86 source tree) and
installed the ati.2 driver, but XFree86 4.1 will not start, complaining
of several unresolved symbols in the r128 driver. I thought that I was
supposed to be using the ati driver, so I changed it in the Device
section of XF86Config, but it still has the same errors. does the ati
driver depend on the r128 driver, or am I supposed to be using another one?
