Hi all,

I've RedHay 7.1 and when I installed it, some time ago all glib,
gtk and stuff rpms were also installed. I removed then yesterday
and compiled the lastest ones, removed rpms with nodep. I
 compiled and installed latest ones...
Then I rebooted... well, not good... Now I'm working in console
mode (not bad ;) ) since I'm not being able to enter X.
 During boot I get:

/sbin/pam_console_apply: Error while loading shared libraries:
libglib-1.2.so.0 cannot load shared object file: No such file or
 directory.

Ok, then I entered prompt and tried to start X with startx and I
 got:

Authentication failed: Cannot start X server.

Perhaps you do not have console ownership? giving up.

xinit: No such file or directory (errno2): unable to connect to X server.
xinit: No such process (errno3) : Server error.

 Well, Now I can't start X.

 Strange enough, I did:
locate libglib and I got a couple of files in /usr/local/lib with
extension .a and .la as far as I can remember but no .so.0 file.
Strange it was not installed when I compiled glib. Did i have to
do something other than the usual make, make check, make install
stuff to build these .so.0 libraries?

 Any ideas?

 Best regards,
