I have made it who desribed on www.xfree.org.
CVSROOT=...
export CVSROOT
cvs login
And now??? I need all the source. How much MB????????
Can I save the source in a directory like /xfree86cvs ??

I have just installed 4.1.99-3 on my computer an it detects my 7500
beatifully.
On xfree86.org you'll find information on how to get the xfree source
from cvs. When you have it, a simple "make World; make install" will
compile and install 4.1.99-3 for you (full distribution, if you're up to
it, you can trim down the modules build).
It requires a good deal of space and a fairly new procssor though
(src+binary files takes about 600Mb, and I use an Athlon 700 for the
build --- takes some hours)
