I am trying to get video playback to work correctly on my ibm a22p laptop
(with ati rage mobility 128 on it -- 1600x1200 16bpp). Whenever I use Xvideo
(playing an mpeg for example) the video is stretched horizontally 2x, but the
window is not. Therefore the I only see the left half of the video. The
problem persists if I resize the window or go to full screen. Once I have
this bad screen up if I leave it playing, and open another movie file the
distortion is not present in the new movie. Has anyone seen this behavior
before? Can someone please point me in the right direction if I have set it
up wrong or perhaps to the right portion of code so I might debug it?
