Hi there, I want to share a desktop(X server) between multiple users. When a user is logged out, I want to change the Xauthority cookie by replacing it with a new one, to prevent him to access the desktop later from somewhere else. I do not restart X server each time.
New cookies added to Xauthority file(the one used by X server) become valid instantly. But removing a cookie from that file does not make it invalid until X server is restarted.
