I am trying a hack, and I want to add a new mouse driver option.
I believe that I need to alter xf86parsePointerSection in programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/parser/Pointer.c. Of course I need to alter the initialization routines in programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/input/mouse/mouse.c. Are there any other places I need to change to insure that my hacked mouse driver gets its extra options? Thank You. BTW Is there any internal programming XFree86 design document?
