Hi Guys, Though I'm sure this topic is covered often, and I understand that ATI is working on Firegl 8800 drivers, is there currently any way to have a R200 (8500) based ATI video card have "acceptable" performance?
I'm about to enable glx, and I would like to hope that it will work after turning that option on, however I wonder if there is anything else I can do to increase performance. Is it still the accepted standard that if you want 3d Performance under linux that you have to aquire an NVIDIA card and use their binary drivers?
