To List: Does XFree support the ATI IGP chipsets? I've tried the latest (4.2.0, 4.2.1, 4.2.99 [from CVS]) and have different kinds of crashes, from server sig 11 to server hangup to system hangup. Luckily, the fbdev driver works well but excuse me for being a pig, I want accelerated 3-D! According to the manufacturers, the IGP is a "built-in radeon". The problem is the XFree "radeon" driver hasn't worked. I haven't been able to contact ATI directly on this. Is there an ATI patch for the source I can apply. Is it supported but with special XF86Config options called out?
