Hello (again). It's a long story, so I'll get right to the point. We upgraded
one of our Linux boxes to RedHat 9.0 (previously 7.3).

When we try to install xplor-nih-2.17.0 we get a __persistent__ segmentation
fault. Although I don't understand its origin, I think I have tracked it down
somewhat.

After unpacking the Linux-i686 and "db" .gz files, there is a bin/xplor
executable. When I run the bin/xplor executable everything seems to work, but
when I use 'stop' to kill the program, I get the segmentation fault. Hence, in
the configure script there are two places where bin/xplor is run. It seems to
work, but dies after the segmentation faults. We have Linux kernel 2.4.20-8smp
(or 2.4.20-8) running.

Hope someone has some idea what is going on. We successfully installed CNS and
CCPNMR without problems.

Regards, Mike
