XQuartz-2.6.3_rc2 is designed for Snow Leopard. I would advise you to use the X11.app that is present in Lion and to report bugs about any issues you face with that version to bugreporter.apple.com.
After Lion is released, I will update the wiki detailing what is in that release like I have for Leopard and Snow Leopard releases (http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/Releases). --Jeremy On Jun 21, 2011, at 12:44, Joachim Beckers wrote: > Jeremy, > > What's your advice for those of us trying out Lion? > > DP4 ships with a recent X11.app. Better to just stick with that? > > Regards, > Joachim > > On 21 Jun 2011, at 21:02, Jeremy Huddleston wrote: > >> Hi everyone, >> >> I just uploaded 2.6.3_rc2 to the servers.
