I've got another beta release of 2.7.2 ready for testing. I'm sorry I didn't get around to release notes for 2.7.2 beta2. That version was essentially the same as beta1 but with libX11 1.5 beta1, libxcb-1.8, and update libpng for security fixes.
The main changes in 2.7.2 beta3 are updates to freetype for additional security fixes, libX11 1.5 RC1, mesa 8.0.1, freeglut 2.8.0 (replaces MesaGLUT), and fixes for regressions in libXi and libXft that were present in the earlier betas. The server itself remains unchanged. The only known regression at this point is for users of tablets. If you're a tablet user, please stick with 2.7.1 for now (or just use the old server binary on top of 2.7.2 beta3). This is a blocker issue, and I won't ship RC1 without this fixed (either by rolling back to the 1.11 server or by fixing the issue in 1.12).
