A while back I tried building x11rdp packages using  checkinstall on a
Debian installation, which needs to be incorporated at the build stage of
each of the individual parts of the xorg build. I got so far but
encountered some odd problems with some of the xorg components which meant
checkinstall couldn't track what files were going to be installed, and so
couldn't build a package. I've been a tad busy in real life and haven't had
a chance to look at this again. Perhaps there is a better method than
checkinstall for building packages? I still have no time at the moment to
look into it again.
