patchs sent as binary data may not be readable. That's probably why I never looked at them. I usually take patches if they are clean, and the bug is confirmed. I can't confirm the bug myself, I have no Windows licence and prefer to keep it that way. If the patch is clearly Win32 only and other reports it works I will apply it. If I can't even read the patch, I just can't apply it...
