Thanks Tony, but that does not help.

If I use '&amp;some-link-name;', (without the <xsl:text> element)  the
text is copied AS IS, and that is wrong. I need EXACTLY this:

&some-link-name;

NOT &amp; in it... :(

Not to mention the output XML file is still garbled...
