This sounds cool... at the first moment. But have you any reasonable
examples, where you would need such a thing? Is it not easier to
understand if you say:
put item 1 to -1 of line 1 to 15 of ...

I think this would reduce readability more than it would add to it.
To me it seems like your expressions lead to a unnecessarily complex
logic.
